Vehicle Preparation checklist

Performance Transport can handle all the heavy lifting when it comes to transporting a high end or high performance vehicle. But, we also like to have the owner of said vehicle make a few preparations before we arrive on the scene. This is mutually beneficial for all parties involved in the transport and can help alleviate problems before they can occur.

  1. Please be sure that you or someone (authorized to sign the bill of lading) is present at each location during your vehicle pick-up and drop-off. The Performance Transport technician will not be allowed to pick-up or drop-off without an authorized signature.

  2. Please be sure to remove all valuables and personal items from the vehicle being transported. Performance Transport and its agents can not be held liable for loss or damage to items that are left in the vehicle.

  3. Make sure that the location of your vehicle is accessible by our transport equipment. Our technicians need clearance in the front or rear of the vehicle in order to lift it on to the transporter.

  4. Please make sure that the Performance Transport technician is left in possession of the transported vehicle's keys. The keys must allow access to the door and trunk as well as start the transported vehicle's engine.

  5. Please remove any and all luggage racks, ski racks, bike racks and any other equipment that is not permanently attached to the transported vehicle. These items can shift and loosen during transport possibly causing damage to yours or another vehicle.

  6. Please fully inspect the transported vehicle before it is lifted on to the transporter. The Performance Transport technician will perform his own inspection and point out any existing damage to avoid discrepancies on a final inspection.
